Think King is more Jimbo's style QB, but Calzada has a rocket arm

havent seen enough to know, but i did LOVE what i saw in King vs Bama.

A guy who kept looking for his receivers while avoiding rush and being DECISIVE. He had an energy that was electric; a leadership vibe and a tough runner mentality.

Maybe that was just a misleading flash. I honestly dont know; but it was DEFINITELY a flash.

Calzada has been here longer, and has the better arm, but King is a wildcard. On paper it should be Calzada, but King is a guy that can surprise. Jimbo is going to have a tough decision...which is a good problem to have.

Not sure how you get on paper it should be Calzada.

King is a better athlete and played ahead of Calzada this year.

"On paper"? What does that even mean here? Calzada didn't get in to one game last year, King, a true freshman did. It didn't seem that tough of a decision last year. On the road, at Bama, you're putting out there the guy you like. He basically replaced Mond who was Monding at the time.

The REAL question is, will they ever get a helmet that sits right on King's noggin? Seriously, the helmets he wears look like they are trying to devour his head.

This. Met the dad of a guy who works(ed) as an intern there at Texags and he said Cal had a hard time with the playbook whereas King learned it a lot quicker.
