If you've read the other stories around the staff at that time, this shouldn't surprise you about Kliff, what he did, and why. I have more respect for Kliff after the stories. It's 100% on Sumlin. He allowed all this nonsense, and many on the staff, Kliff included, had to hobble things together to avert a full nuclear meltdown.

The worst thing about this board is that people start new threads when there are threads already in place. It clutters things up. Have one JFF thread and put all of this under it. Simple.

Kk's job was to get the quarterback to practice. It's the head mans job to decide to kick the All American qb off the team. Go back and think if it would have been a good idea to kick Johnny off that year. College football is not the Boy Scouts. It's just a shame Johnny but the team and coaches thought his crap.

I'm beginning to think Johnny didn't sleep in and miss the Manning passing academy.

Man some of y'all are real mad. Johnny is the best thing to ever happen to A&M football. His heart was no longer in football, so he didn't make it in the NFL. Not really sure why that makes some of y'all so mad.

He seems like he is in a great place in life right now and is genuinely happy. He also makes more money than 99.9% of the people on here. He's living in Scottsdale and golfs every day. Wish I was fortunate enough to do that.

Johnny showed some grit to practice/play hungover like
that.

Yay another JFF thread where our short-sighted fan base ****s all over a guy who did immeasurable good for our university despite his own personal failings.

When I read some of these comments it really seems like some of y'all would have fit in better at Baylor or tu.

Yall are forgetting that he doesn't need the money. He's got daddy's money to take care of him.

Well Daddy doesn't have **** now. He was on local TV a year or two ago advertising cars I guess as a salesman but with a fancy name so nobody would question to much. Johnny's grandpa had all the money.....

They do when they've suffered no negative consequence. The fact that he's squandered his football career and the millions that could've come with it is completely irrelevant to him, because no matter what, he's still rich and can "live the life".
We're watching a kid take full advantage of his "golden parachute", or "safety net", whatever you wanna call it.
And when you have the financial capacity and lack of guidance to live life as a joke without it having any major repercussions, everything else is just amusement.

It's like we're watching a real life version of Billy Madison, before his dad dropped the hammer.
And JFF's family ain't gonna be dropping any hammer, so his life is literally just a gigantic flucking-off session.
