We are a weak 3 or a strong 4, depending upon where they end up placing some of the other NY6 winners (OU, etc.). There will be a strong post season marketing that OU was under-ranked by all the statistical indicators & polls. We benefit the most w/ them placing OU high because I do not feel they would unseat us, but it could gently nudge us into #3 with a drop of ND to 6 & Clemson/OU filling out #4 & #5.
Aggie Football is only played for 2 quarters, choose wisely.

Not that it really matters but Clemson and ND should both finish behind us and OU considering how poorly they played and how poorly their conference played.

ND is not staying in the top 4. Even though they are ND they just arent. Clemson likely wont either.

If we finish in the top 4 it would be admitting we DESERVED (apparently if you put that word in all caps in means more) to be in the Invitational, and I doubt they would do that.

Although hypocrisy has never stopped them before, so, who knows.

Of course, if Alabama blows out tOSU, you could argue we should be ranked #2. Bama the clear champ, followed by a bunch of teams they boat raced. Clemson and ND have 2 losses each, and we know tOSU's overall body of work is suspect.

Has a 2 loss team ever jumped a 1-loss top 5 team that won their NY6 bowl by double-digits?

If not, why do you think it would start now?

Ags will be #4, could be #3 if coaches want to stick it to Dabo. I bet you Ryan Day has the Ags at #3 and Clemson at #11 if he votes in the poll.

Brace yourself. With t.u. getting a new coach, and the BDF winning their bowl games like they have, ESiPN wants that conference....needs that conference as relevant as possible. Reading some articles this morning, the media is going to continue to put asterisks next to our name and quietly discredit us. OU will be one spot ahead of us, unless we are ranked third.
