Seems like with bowl predictions most years, they just put A&M in the nearest bowl. If there's an opportunity to predict a game vs the sips, that's just as easy and generates a few extra clicks for the discussion as to which team is ducking the other that year. Agree with those above though that there is higher likelihood of A&M-Texas because of the limited pool of teams to pick from. It would also generate more national interest in the game in this crazy year.

In most years, three SEC teams play in CFP/NY6 bowls. With the Big Ten returning and the Pac 12 out, I believe a maximum of four SEC teams will be playing in these bowls. With Alabama, Georgia, and Florida expected to play in these bowls, we will have to finish 2nd in the SEC West to make a NY6 bowl appearance. We technically finished 2nd in the SEC west two years ago with a 74-72 7-OT win over LSU, but 9-3 LSU was ranked above 8-4 Texas A&M.
