As long as there is no maroon pants anywhere in the building and have a white helmet option, all good.

Not a fan of black gloves, cleats, and shoes personally. I'd prefer white or maroon.
Same entity that chose the terrible entrance song perhaps. Maybe they will tackle that one now?aggieclay said:
Who do we have to get through to to get rid of the effing maroon road pants! If at home and we go all maroon, great! Just no maroon pants on the road

Penn State historically doesnt have their school name, their players names, and in the past did not even have a school logo on their uniforms until they added a tiny one above the numbers (they briefly also did have player names under Bill OBrien I think). The plain white helmet with only a stripe is by definition generic, but it is also unique since no other schools are really going to that extreme level of plainness.
Alabama's helmets also have a very unique design feature you dont see with other programs. It would be very easy to distinguish them with their brands removed.

Too many folks must think wearing the most dull and uninspired uniforms in CFB that look like what a small town high school football team with no athletics budget wears is going to magically make us Bama
They won't

So glad to see the gloss paint on the helmet in the correct shade of maroon. The previous satin finish in "cranberry" was awful.

This is pretty much my dream uniform when it comes to the home uniform combination. I'm very pleased!
I am still holding out hope that they do something like this for at least some of the road games.
Replace the black gloves, socks, and cleats with all white and you got a sick icy white uniform combination.

If we went 8-5 from 99-2011 it was considered a great year..... Our standards changed when Sumlin and the SEC arrived.
For me, these new uniforms look like the old, which represent being content with mediocrity.
Prime example of being "that guy"

They bring back memories of Fran running the option to the short side of the field over and over with a QB who had one of the best arms in the country.

Other than that they're boring, look like countless other teams, especially Big XII teams. . . . geez, so frickin' average.
I
And they come out with that, and the media will say, . . . "ok, kinda looks like Texas but maroon; or Mississippi St. On with the game".
But . . .
. . . if they would have gone this way, with no bevels, no HUGE Texas A&M on the chest, and YES the SRIPES on the shoulders, those same announcers would have likely commented . . ." they're unique, it's definitely the AGGIES.
Oh well . . .
Are you 12 years old? When is the last time you heard any announcer say something like that?
Big 12 has boring uniforms? Hmm... OU and t.u have stuck pretty close to the same uniform which looks classic. OU has a some alternates but nothing boring. Baylol has tried their hardest to be the Oregon of Texas with all their glitzy stuff. Tceh, TCU, and Oklahoma St have had all sorts of weird stuff.
Boring? You're all over the place. Take a time out
