Bland, uninspired and absolutely nothing unique about them

Getting rid of the bevel and making the team name bigger are the only things they did that I like about them

Should have at least kept the shoulder stripes to have SOMETHING unique about them

I guess it's the off-season so people need something to discuss --- but not really sure why people care what the uniform looks like unless it's either extremely cool or extremely tacky. It looks okay and very generic. It's very middle of the bell curve, IMHO.

It's a uniform thread. That's all.

Exactly what I hoped we would do. Continue to build substance over style culture that it takes to win long term. Numbers on the sleeve and the Texas outline logo on the hip are great. No bevel is great. Larger block ATM on the helmet is great. A+

The best news is, these jerseys are still in NCAA14, just scroll over to the '09 maroon helmet, '09 jersey and '11 pants, bam! 2020 jerseys! I'm overally happy with this, honestly, all they had to do was just get rid of the faux mesh look on the 98 throwbacks and that would have been just perfect, but obviously there had to be additional input. I can appreciate that we are getting away from the Oregon of the SEC vibe that Sumlin brought, it was neat initially, but over time it got played out. 8/10 overall execution.

Love them. Top to bottom a perfect look. Glad the white face masks are back and the matte helmet is gone. Classic look. Hope we do not change for many years.

Ditching the Matte helmet, stripes, and beveled numbers was a bad move, but adding black gloves/cleats/socks is an even worse move.

Just ugly and boring. Looks like the late RC/Fran years.

The matte and grey face mask was ugly as ***** Also the different uni combos are dumb

Whats amazing here too, I remember the A&M Texas game in '07 when everyone was griping about gray pants because those weren't our colors, we were maroon and white. Now we get exactly that and people are complaining the other way. Just can't please anyone. Honestly, the Nikes from 05-06 were perfect, then adidas came in and started tweaking....

A&M Athletics: We takeaway your seats, we up the price, we remove yells, we turn the stadium into Jerryworld, we do less with more money than any program in the nation (outside of t.u.) and the last few months we have not only spit on you on you, then we asked you for more money after we did it.

Us: Uhhhhhh....yeah but these old school uni's with the white face masks are fire!

I was getting tired of the previous look. Still liked the 98 throwbacks but these will do.

The uniforms are fine. Just win. Quit focusing on anything other than playing and winning. That's the process. Everything else is distraction.

I liked the matte helmets, but that was it. Those uniforms were effing ugly. Beveled numbers? Blah! I'm convinced some of you would complain about a BJ.

Penn State and Alabama can actually hardly be called generic. They are generic in style, but they are not really generic at all in terms of brand. The elements of both uniforms are very easily identifiable even if you scramble any identifying marks. If someone showed you a Penn State uniform you'd immediately know who it was because its the only one that looks like that. There's really nothing unique about these uniforms at all other than the fact that it has our logos, our name, and our colors.

I would say the main comparison i could make is Texas. Orange white, add longhorn logos. Texas above a big number. Generic. Relies on their logo, name, and colors to say it all. Our logos and colors are frankly not as strong to carry all of the water IMO, but its fine. Just boring.

Based on the description, I bet they look pretty similar to this...

I'm really confused here. What they've revealed is a very traditional take on uniforms, with no bevel. The general desire for uniforms on this board, at least from my perspective, has been for less swag and something traditional. This lukewarm response so far is surprising.

Didn't we love the throwback uniforms from Jimbo's first year? That's essentially what we got here. I guess I should just take this as a sign that we could win a national championship and this board would still find something to complain about.

Like I said elsewhere, does Corey have any eligibility left?

No one outside of tens of Texags complainers cares about this.

I like big, plain numbers. I'm old school that way - trick up lots of things, but keep the numbers easy to read. So anything that gets the bevel off the numbers is a big + in my book.

Like the old school hats and face mask.

I do prefer the double lines on the shoulders - one of the few A&M unique uniform elements we had.

I like it. Not a real big fan of the stupid squared-off looking numbers but as long as it removes the bevel that's a small price to pay. Back to the future......

I like these. The simpler the better for me. I'm a fan of teams like Bama and Penn State uniforms.
