Big news: we have announced a non aggression pact with Wisconsin. For those who don't know, we also have an alliance with Stanford, Ohio State and Alabama. We are at war with Texas and Michigan.

They attacked us first. Michigan and texas had an alliance last game, and it appears to have picked up this game, too.

Game has been great so far. We currently have the sips on the ropes with only 2 territories left. There is a real chance we can wipe them off the board tonight!

Everyone join up and help defend around the horns or attack them directly!

Low likelihood that we eliminate them tonight. They are likely to "shotgun" and send about 10-20% of their power at 7 different territories and then do a small amount of defense and then they will hope that having a 25% chance in 9 different places results in them holding 2-3 territories when its over.

That being said, the more people we can get helping out, the better our odds of knocking them off the map. If we can get them down to just 1 territory that only has 3 territories touching it, then our odds of eliminating them will go up substantially.

The plays to make if your goal is to defeat the sips, pick one of these:

1. Defend TCU
2. Defend UTSA
3. Defend Texas
4. Defend College Station
5. Attack Rice
6. Attack Baylor

Let's saw those horns off!

Strongly suggest joining the discord group, lots of good discussion aside from the game stuff- guns, food, booze, music, etc...

Suggesting people on texags attack Texas or defend adjacent territories isn't showing our hand. We have a very organized effort on discord and the subreddit. If you want to be involved in detailed strategy you need to get involved there...

Howdy y'all, college football risk is back again!

Last time we played (back in 2020), the Aggies captured the entire state of Texas, New Mexico, and Kansas, as well as parts of Arizona/Colorado/Oklahoma. Texas A&M finished as one of the top three schools (along with Nebraska and Michigan) second overall in number of territories, just behind Ohio State (thank you to Goose06 for the correction), and that was in large part thanks to y'all.

Because of our success in the previous game, we're only allowed to defend our home territory of College Station for the first three rounds (the same goes for every other school that survived the entirety of the previous game). That being said, we still need your help defending Aggieland!

All you have to do is log in once per day to submit your move. It only takes about a minute! For those of you who want to get more involved, we could always use help with strategy/alliances/recruiting/memes the level to which you want to participate is entirely up to you! And worst case scenario, you can always quit playing it if you hate it. There's no commitment!

I had a lot of fun playing CFBRisk 1.0/2.0, and I'm sure this version will be fun as well. I'd highly recommend it!

Last go round A&M actually ended up getting 2nd. Ohio State who we allied with got 1st. It's basically an old fashion online poll and Texags never loses a poll right?

1) Everyone visits the AggieCFBRisk Reddit to see what the orders are for the day.

2) Visit the https://collegefootballrisk.com/ site and select the territory for where our orders are for the day

3) Select either the attack or defend button for that territory

... that's it?

Its kind of hard to tell right now. I think only the current option is to select 'Defend' for the College Station territory.

The only question I have is where there a new thread each day with the days date giving the order? How do we find the order for the day?

First of all, since we survived the last round of risk we (along with the other surviving teams like Ohio State, Michigan, Wisconsin, etc) are not allowed to make any offensive moves for 3 days. Today is the last of those days. So starting tomorrow we will be moving into attack mode.

There will be a Reddit Squad and orders will be given each day on the sub reddit for that squad. I am assuming there will be a new thread, but I think Pylon Cam can give more color there as I think he will be leading that squad.

Another option is to join the discord and there are numerous teams on discord who each have their own missions to carry out and strategy and daily orders are discussed at length on the discord. Feel free to join there if you want to get more involved. Here is a link for that: http://tx.ag/AggieDiscord

And yes, it is as simple as just logging onto the collegefootballrisk.com site and submitting your move (attack or defend) and then you come back and do it again the next day.

Just curious, how do you keep the spies out of the Aggie Reddit? I know you have to admit them, but aside from that, anyone can request to join. And now that I ask that question, I'm pretty sure I'm over thinking things
