So, it is now the off season, and there has been a question that I have had for a long time now: What does the Transfer Portal look like? I have come up with several options, let me know which you think is best.

The transfer portal is a great place to find a QB. Most of the non-QBs are good enough to barely crack our 2 deep but would start in the midmajors. Javonne Shephard would be huge, but is a rarity.

A few immediately eligibles looked interesting:

Devery Hamilton, OT Stanford- was starting, had a season ending injury. Last year played G and OT.

Terrance Davis, G Md. Was a 4* out of HS and started a bunch of games.

Jovan Swann, a DT/SDE Stanford. Undersized at 270#, but had 4 sacks last year and 7 TFL. Maybe we could play him at SDE and inside on 3rd.


They proly want to start. None are good enough for Jimbo to promise PT. And we are unlikely to compete for a championship. We offer a chance to compete in the SEC, but other SEC programs proly can guarantee PT.

I do like the Bill & Ted Portal - kicking myself for leaving that off since I'm really good at drawing 3d see-through cubes. The Watchmen portal is basically a Stargate portal with a lot more blue dong.
