I don't think I've ever heard a teammate complain about this. Seems like they understand why the player is sitting out.

The only ones I've ever heard get angry about it are selfish fans who believe they're entitled to seeing a player risk career-ending injury for the entertainment of complete strangers. But that seems pretty normal for older people's attitudes today.


This happens literally every Saturday in the fall.

And your reply would have been so much better if you had stopped before the personal attack. It's the laziest form of argument and it is completely irrelevant, especially when used to generalize an entire group of people.
