I've been a realist about our team since the offseason and always thought 8-4 was our ceiling for 2019. But anyone who doesn't acknowledge our improvement since the first week just hasn't been watching.

Defense has improved (but can still give up big plays).
Mond has certainly improved as Jimbo's play calling has adjusted.
Ground game is solid when O-line can block and we're not facing an Auburn or Georgia front 7.

Early in the year I don't think Jimbo wanted Mond to run, but that clearly has changed. I expect a lot of designed QB runs. Jimbo will try to control the clock and keep LSU's offense off the field, and I expect a big day running the ball.

I'll stop short of predicting a win but it will be closer than everyone thinks, and will still be a game going into the 4th. Who knows? A couple of turnovers and some lucky breaks could be the difference.

By the way, Orgeron has been the head coach at LSU for 45 games, and Fisher at A&M for 23 games. So when you try and compare what each one has done at those respective schools, it is ignorant to assume they should both be at the same success level currently.
