Too much IMO, but given today's culture, not surprised.
Hopefully it ends with this year.
You do realize that every player, coach, executive, and media member speaking out thinks its a fair punishment, right?

Fine, they can, but no not EVERY one is. I don't agree.

But it doesn't matter what I think.

That's why I said. IN MY OPINION.

Which person associated with the NFL has said Garrett deserves less of a sentence? I haven't seen one.

So if everyone on Texags thinks it's fair to kick you in the nuts, then logically, you would let us do it, right?

Rudoph's agent weighing charges.
It's semantics but still an important distinction - he can bring a lawsuit against Garrett but cannot file criminal charges.

Swinging a helmet on national TV is way way worse than punches. Myles was pretty close to getting a long long ban there if the crown of the helmet hit Rudolph instead

It is worse I agree, but AJ landed clean punches after Fennigan had his helmet off. & I will not be surprised if the NFL bans Garret 5 games or more, but Rudolph instigated this for trying to yank off his helmet.

I really wish Myles would've just dropped it, & thrown a punch instead if he was that angry. Two wrongs do not make a right, but the media is only focused on Myles.
Me too.

This one could've been so easy...

Keep your helmet on and you can fight until the cows come home... or until it gets squelched.

Or, like hockey, both players sling their helmets aside and go to town fist to fist.

Do it. I hope MG's does the same with the repeated cleats to the nuts.

Couldn't Myles also press charges on Pouncey for repeatedly kicking him in the head?

He could, but I doubt it. Pouncey was protecting his QB and Garrett could relate to that.

His two other incidents heavily influences his suspension

Myles' base salary for 2019 is $3,229,750.

He'll forfeit 6/16th of that with the suspension.

That's and effective fine of $1,211,562 + lost incentives.

Ouch.

I guessed right on the number of games unless they carry it over to next year which I doubt. And got the fine correct too, but it isn't on MG but on the team. Why fine a team for something like this?

They shouldn't have.

We have all seen #1 multiple times by lots of players.

#2 isn't dirty at all. Maybe technically a late hit, and a personal foul by landing on him with his whole body weight. It just looks worse because the guys leg got caught underneath them. We see this hit all the time and no one considers it overtly dirty.

A few players, Cam Jordan, Michael Thomas have defended him for the instigation by Rudolph, they don't condone his swinging the helmet, Neither do I as I've said repeatedly. I can see both sides, so can others. You can understand the emotion without condoning the reaction.

But if it makes you happy, most haven't.

From NFL.com:

Rudolph's conduct in the brawl will be reviewed for a potential fine, NFL Network's Tom Pelissero reported.

It is pretty stupid that the dude doesn't get suspended for a game just because he couldn't pull the helmet all the way off. Everyone watching that video knows exactly what he was trying to do.

I'd venture to say if Mason Rudolph was a black QB his actions would be viewed differently by the league

Myles is getting exactly was he deserves for his actions. Mason Rudolph should suffer consequences for his actions.

Just imagine if this had happened with Myles and Lamar Jackson. The portrayal of the incident would be completely different. I'd have a hard time believing that the media would pin all responsibility on Myles.
