Which program would you be referring too?....After the Seminoles 2013 season (Jimbos 3rd year as H/C) his record there tanked and never recovered. In fact, the FSU program was so plagued by poor grades that they were set to lose eligibility in the ACC. Y'all should do a little research before bagging on our players....The truth is Jimbo has never "built up" a program as head coach. But there is evidence that he had a hand in taking one down....His athletic director at FSU(Coburn) was charged with covering up the grade scandal at FSU. Check out the article in The Bleacher Report. You might even learn something about the extreme measures Willie Taggert had to implement just to keep FSU eligible to compete in the ACC

Jimbos last 3 years involved a drubbing by Oregon at the end of the undefeated 2014 campaign that youre touting. Then he went on to a stellar 25-12 for the remaining 3 years plus an automatic suspension threat from the ACC. I stand by the title.....Which program did Jimbo build as head coach?

25-12 record from 15-17 is absolutely accurrate. In fact, thats leaving out the Oregon smoking of FSU. If you want to cover up the 2017 season thats on you but I dont pull that nonsense. Its there. So again....Which program did Jimbo build?

BTW if you want to give Jimbo credit for the last win in 2017 thats fine. But he wasnt the coach.

Getting smoked by anyone in a playoff game is fine with me if we win 13 games and make the playoffs. But kept pretending that one game ruins the season.

The records shown pretty much debunk some of OP's premise but looking forward the question has merit. When you watch that absolutely awful special teams performance you can't put it on talent...it's terrible coaching plain and simple. Bottom line is we have once again done (on an much larger scale) what has held us back for two decades. And that's to encumber ourselves to a coach without any recourse for poor performance. This season is a poor performance and on that there's no debate.

Coaches have all the power in contract negotiations and they are going to set themselves up this way. It's just the way it is now.

Saban was 12-2 in his 2nd year at Bama. Fischer won't come close to equaling that.

7-8 players lost to the NFL from last years team.

Six seniors on this years team and the only one that gets consistent playing time is the punter. The others won't play enough to letter.

We are playing 5-6 freshmen per game and starting two. We have virtually no quality depth and that takes time to acquire and build.

Jackie Sherrill had the following record after he started:
5-6
5-5-1
6-5 (team was 4-5 then beat a nationally ranked TCU at Kyle and followed that up with throttling of a ranked Texas team in Austin)
10-2

You absolutely must factor in the academic scandal that was covered up by the athletic director Coburn at FSU. For no other reason than many of the otherwise ineligible players would not have been allowed to be actively enrolled at FSU much less be on the field playing. Helping to deliver those 10 win seasons. Remember Jimbo lobbied hard for the LSU job in 16. Wonder why???

It doesn't have to be that way and it certainly doesn't have to be to the degree we have now. LSU turned it down and it doesn't seem to be bothering them much.

I am quite a few concerns with Jimbo, but his record at FSU is not one of them. He won a NC. Period. He made the Playoffs in Y1. Period. Went to two other NY6 bowls. Period.

Most of us would swim through a mile of sewage to have that record for the Aggies.

Same reason he came here. FSU was dragging feet with facility commitments and staff pay. This was widely known.

Saban didn't have to coach Sumlin talent.

In May the NCAA released its Academic Progress Report FSU was dead last with a score of 922.....At below 930 FSU faced loss of scholarships and coaching suspensions. But Coburn was able to finagle FSUs score to 936 by using a four year average.

You think if FSU Coburn made this public that we dump 75 million on Jimbo? You been blowing your tuba too much....Or beating too much......On your drum.

And now they're undefeated and in the conversation while we're hoping we won't have to endure 10 years of poor play after taking a huge backward step after 2 years. I'm not saying Fisher won't get it done but if he doesn't there won't be a damn thing we can do about it.

Scott Woodward was a plant into our program by LSU with the ultimate plan to saddle us with a gargantuan 10 yr contract to a coach they knew would set our program back for a LONG time.

Oh and let's be sure and not mention the 950,000$ paid by FSU to settle one of Jamieas rape allegations........ Because I'm sure that didn't affect the woman's life at all. Oh and did you ask if Jamieas continues to be eligible?...... Of course he was Jimbo was coach
