The same was said about Arkansas.

Obvious hyperbole on my part, but
- ole miss last year
- auburn both years
- arkansas both years
- shockingly most of the non p5 games in 2 years
- last years alabama stalled out on a 50 yard fg
- miss st last year
- remember we were down early in the gator bowl
- we were down early in both clemson games

We started off slow in all of these games, and apart from last years lsu the first quarter of all our games has been s****y

The Sporting Blue is off a little this year having lost to the Cambridge Wranglers in OT. I expect a spirited contest with great fellowship and fair play abounding in all quadrants. I am somewhat relieved that we don't have to travel to Cambridge this year, since they have added several new players via the transfer portal.

Hail fellows, well met, at Oxford and across the globe.

What you see is what you get. More average to below average uninspired play which is the most disappointing thing, how in the hell do you get to put that helmet on and play in front of our crowds and not play your ass off. I can't wait to see how bad those trailer trash tigers make that game as they are looking for more than payback.

I expect we will play pretty much the same as we have been. For all the coach's talk, I really do not see much improvement in the team's performance since the first game. And obviously, special teams has gotten worse (hopefully a one off).

With Mond not being able to loosen up the defense with the long pass, Ole Miss will do what every other opponent has done and will stack the line against the run. This will make running tough, so we will have to rely on the Mond short passing game.

Outcome? Toss-up.

We are supposed to have better players and coaches, so we know who should win.

While there's reason to be concerned, I have a feeling that the team knows this is the part of the schedule to make an impressive run for 7-3 record going into the Georgia game. They can build off their last game against Bama and eliminate many of the mental errors. We still need some leadership to step up and guide this team.

Beat the hell outta both the Mississippis.

I have 2 expectations:

1) Ags win

2) Ags are upset because it wasn't a "good" win

and anyone who defends the team, or Mond, or Fisher will be accused of accepting mediocrity at best, and moral victories at worst.

There's no such thing as a moral victory against anyone but especially against a team like Ole
miss.

This would not be an acceptable loss .... plain and simple.
