I'm hearing from an LSU friend that Tiger Fans have started buying entire season ticket packages just to have tickets to Saturday. There are also several charter busses and a plane being organized out of Baton Rouge, there may be a lot of purple & gold in Austin.

Almost made a joke saying, "You think LSU fans have money to buy tickets like that."

Then I remembered nobody wants to go to t.u. football games and tickets are cheap.

The cheaper tickets are going for $350+ for this game right now.

The lowest cost season ticket is $199. I could see some making that investment to get seats cheaper than the aftermarket route.

K-State fans up here used to do that with KU football tickets...got great seats for their game and sold or gave away the other tickets. Aggies got some of those tickets for our games in Lawrence.

1st benefit: seeing your team play in a big game
2nd benefit: empty seats for subsequent t.u. games

Good luck selling off the cheap cuts, especially if LSU wins convincingly.

I just hope they have a prominent location for their terrible purple / gold band to annoy everyone the entire game!

Not sure. But if you're a sip, kindly consider the difference between an OOC Thursday Night before a Holiday Weekend game against a chump team vs Sips regular season slated home schedule.

Thanks

Thanks

The cow home schedule does not include ONE relevant conference game whereas we host both Auburn and Alabama..... Our 3rd best conference home game (Miss. State) would be cow's best game after LSU.

Kind of reminds me of when we played at SMU several years back. You could buy SMU season tickets for $99 but they were charging over $100 for our game.

The thing to take away from this is that you can still buy sip season tickets. I guess no one wants them...

This article was from a few weeks ago, and as of today, it looks like they finally sold out:

Quote:

On Saturday, the school revealed that it has sold 62,645 season tickets, leaving only 355 left for purchase there's a hard cap of 63,000 available. The record for most season tickets sold in a single year is 62,737 in 2010, so the Longhorns were only 92 short of setting the record.

That would be hard to believe, but maybe you're right. Does the TMF publish that info online?

Nah, you can buy em on their website right now, so unless they made more available, they didn't sell them all

I also know that we have not sold out our season tickets in awhile. They are still available now .

Not being Debbie-downer, just saying. I am a multiple season ticket holder.

Link? Cause I actually tried and there are nothing but a few single game tickets and a mini game (doesn't have LSU) plan.

You can click the link and then fill out the inquiry, but I believe that is now getting you a "we're sold out" message from their ticket office. (Per LSU fan.)

In related news. Because of record interest in Longhorn football we are seeing unprecedented demand for season tickets. Soft chanting in the background "Big 12...Big 12...Big 12!"

My LSU fan friend did it on his phone this morning, at least that's what he told me.

The point was that the rest of their games are so cheap that a season ticket would be comparable to a ticket for this game.

I think something just flew over your head
