I had buddies get some for like $7, but that was a Thursday night game against the 2nd grade B team... An average conference ticket at Kyle field costs starts at about $65, which is almost twice what t.u.'s tickets are.

Tickets for Texas' conference home games average like $35. The point of the original joke was that it isn't insanely more expensive to buy a season ticket than a ticket for this game

No doubt in my mind that there is going to be a lot of "LSU Purple and Gold" in those DKR stands on Saturday night.

And some cheap game tickets available on StubHub for the remainder of the year in tu's home stadium. The t-shirt fans will be happy for those less expensive tickets for the 4 scintillating contests: Okla State, Kansas, Kansas State and Texas Tech !

I'm hearing from an LSU friend that Tiger Fans have started buying entire season ticket packages just to have tickets to Saturday. There are also several charter busses and a plane being organized out of Baton Rouge, there may be a lot of purple & gold in Austin.

Horns will be insufferable if they beat the Tigers. DK Royal stadium will be insufferable for that entire game win or lose, but will be glorious to behold if purple and gold put the wood to the horns.
