I love some REK, especially The Road Goes on Forever, but most the students do not get hype for that song. If we're gonna play a song, we need to satisfy a bigger piece of the audience.

Damn right! Go find a good set of speakers, turn it up and just sit and enjoy. The bass part around :40 in is money, and if there was ever a song to have a 100,000+ seat stadium rocking, this is it.

I think we should play the first 10 seconds of "Chug-A-Lug" so the crowd can whoop along with Roger Miller. That would be a nice homage to those of us who appreciate real country music and it would be cheesy enough that the super duper redass painted overall wearing new army types would love it because they got to whoop.

Not only was REK corny, it sounded AWFUL in the stadium. At least "If you wanna play in Texas" sounded decent.

But let's just go hip hop heavy and splash in some Metallica, etc. when we need to play music. Keep the country at the Chicken.

The live version of the Road goes on Forever sucked. I think the Studio version would have been better.

Different songs get different people hyped. I think they should try AC DC Thunderstruck this next game and keep trying other ones until one sticks.
