How about Invincible by Skillet ... it's pretty current with a 2016 release date. WWE even has used it at events, lol

As the song says right at the beginning, its from the 21st century.JJxvi said:

It'll become tradition, like the Hokies using Enter Sandman for the past 20 years.
Please explain what the "right track" is (I have a feeling that you want more of a "white" track). After the drum cadence (which is our main entrance music) we literally play a 15 second clip of a song that gets great crowd reaction and the players love it.
Great, Great cruising song for sure!! Nice blast from the past!! Enjoyed it. Not for an entrance though.Drake aTm said:

As an old, I think Power is dated. There is new stuff produced all the time and with mixing technology, a cool mashup can be made that would be just as powerful if not more than what is being used now.
I think it would be awesome if the staff could put something together that reaches all of the generations, like a music history with historical video accompaniment for Aggies that would start with something for Old Army and progress through today. Plus as the sound progressed through time they could use the bass capabilities of the system to make you feel the pulse get louder and louder.
I also think the band should start with the bugle call from out of nowhere like a battle call. They should march out and then the video and music should start. Doing it the other way is anticlimactic.
I honestly can't remember the order the way it is now. I just remember it being OK, not really inspiring.
My $0.02.

This needs to be our entrance song and it's not even debatable.
Doesn't everyone have a bias towards their own musical tastes, regardless of young or old?AGinHI said:
You're no different than past generations who have a bias towards their own preferred musical taste.

Need to walk out to just the cadence of the drummers. I'd be scared s***less if I was on the opposite bench and saw a group of grown ass men walk in like they mean business and not like they just walked into a club.
BTW, an improvement I would make with the drum thing is to have just one start it and the rest join in after a bit.ClassOf17 said:San Saba Ag said:

My first game at Kyle was when we walked out behind 4 drummers in 05(ish)? Gave me chills...
Yeah, but the song actually motivates and produces some results, unlike Sumlin.ABATTBQ11 said:
We retired Sumlin...
Honestly, it doesn't get better than that. And we still have the drum cadence beforehand.TheWoodsAg said:
