Fort Washington (MD) CB Joshuah Moten commits to Texas A&M
The Aggies have picked up a verbal pledge from Ft Washington (MD) CB Joshuah Moten today. The 5-11, 175-pounder picked Texas A&M over Penn State, Oklahoma, Michigan, Oregon, South Carolina and plenty of others. Moten, a one time Nittany Lion commitment, took an official visit to Aggieland on June 14th-16th after recently decommitting from Penn State.
Moten becomes the Aggies’ 14th commitment in the 2020 class and the second pledge in the secondary, joining Cibolo Steele’s Jaylon Jones.
When watching Moten’s junior tape, it’s pretty clear to see why he’s one of the more highly regarded covermen on the east coast. The first thing that jumps out is the ability to play the ball in the air. He flashes plus ball skills and soft hands in both single and zone coverage. He’s fluid and quick in his backpedal and is aggressive through the route of the receiver. You can view the entirety of his junior tape below.
