Clemson will probably cover if we can't get pressure on Lawrence. Hope I am wrong. I appear to be in minority of folks around here that believes our outcome against them last year has absolutely no impact on how the game will go this year.
I am with you. If that is the line come May when I visit Las Vegas, I will put a $100 on that one.Our-turn-to-rule said:

21 seems like solid push.
would be inclined at 21.5
would not like 20.5.
At that spread it becomes when do they let up? Or garbage time td by ags to push.

It's pretty funny.
Ags can be a 20 point underdog at Tuscaloosa and everyone is talking about, 'Its Bama, Saban, and on the road.' Unfortunately, looks about right. Gosh, hope we can give them a game.
Ags at Death Valley against Clemson is 'No way, I'm loading up, free money, what a huge slap in the face.'
If only there was some way we could measure Clemson and Alabama against one another. Hmmmm.

Last time we started the year at Clemson w a bunch of hype the whole year was a bust...
I think I'm good w us being 21 point dogs
Take your snarky crap back to Tigernet, you're a guest here and last time I checked the only reason you beat us last year was because our kicker missed a 19 yard FG, our backup QB fumbled on the only play he was in on and the refs gifted you a BS touchback call. Most Clemson fans I know will freely admit that they were lucky to get out of Kyle Field with a win and 12 months (and fewer All-Americans) doesn't make you 19 points better.ClemsonTig said:

People scoff at that line because despite what you return at the skill positions your OL and DL is not what it was, and most intelligent football people know where games are won and lost. Also our coach has a pretty good history of keeping things competitive against your coach even when he has the lesser team, I trust him to run the ball against an inexperienced Clemson front, play keep away and shorten the game on the road.
Congrats on your win in the national title game, you won the turnover battle, played good redzone D and used big plays to do something that no one has done to Alabama in 13 years. You also had fewer first downs and only out gained them by 39 total yards despite the final score.

So how will their defense slow our offense?
They lost their entire D-line in the draft.
We have Ausbon, Predator and Davis ready to roll.
I see us hanging for a while.

Corbin is pretty good but we need a strong running game to exploit that up front.
That battle turned out pretty well for us....agz win said:

They also have improved tremendously at qb since that game... not really comparable.Flexbone said:ClemsonTig said:

Probably has something to do with a 2 point loss last year in a game we had a great chance to win as well as the fact that while Clemson is a great team, they aren't Alabama. Nobody is.
I think it's a little snarky both ways. Obviously they beat the crap out of Bama when it mattered the most and were undoubtedly the better team that night, but Tig's post seemed to be a bit dismissive of the Ags too. We're going to be a better team in year 2 with Jimbo, without a doubt. 21 seems to be a bit much and I'd take 3 TD's with my money all day long. I doubt we win period, much less go in their house and smack them around. But it's gonna be a lot closer than Vegas thinks.Bunk Moreland said:TheWoodsAg said:Take your snarky crap back to Tigernet, you're a guest here and last time I checked the only reason you beat us last year was because our kicker missed a 19 yard FG, our backup QB fumbled on the only play he was in on and the refs gifted you a BS touchback call. Oof this comes off as really pathetic. You're trying to belittle their title win? They've won 2 over bama in the last 3 years now.
Bama loses guys every year too. The only problem with ClemsonTig's post is that he assumes everyone on here sees the big bama line and says "yeah I expect that." every year half do and the other half post how the line is way too high. Just like this thread with Clemson.
So I don't know what's worse... The national champion going dangerfield wanting respect or the guy who is trying to downplay their title win by referencing total yards
For the first time in MANY, MANY YEARS, a team NOT name Alabama has the best odds to win the Natty.aggie-master said:
OI think we have a decent chance to win this game. We will be better and Clemson will not be as good. We should have beat them last year if the refs were not cheating for them or we could make a chip shot field goal.
I realize that Lawrence is not the same kid that we played is probably at least twice as good as he was then due to experience but they lost some great linemen and I think it will show in the game.
