The Holly Rowe report said it all. Team was so unmotivated in practice that Smart had to threaten them with benchings.

Now they're playing like warmed over upchuck, and have no idea how to turn it around. The penalty going into the half sums it up.

If I was a Georgia fan, I'd be livid. What's Florida bringing back next year? They may be the team to beat in the East.

This may be way out in left field, but if I was a UGa fan, I'd be concerned that the players have lost confidence in Kirby and his staff after 2 successive choke jobs against Bama. It was obvious in the SECCG that UGa didn't even think to prepare for the possibility that Hurts would come in the game. That's not poor coaching; that's idiotic coaching. Almost smacks of laziness. I personally would be at least somewhat concerned myself.

This is the downside of not having a game with your hated rival. You always had the chance before to line up against them once a year, but not now.

When they're boat-racing the little 12 next year on their way to that fourth playoff spot, it won't be quite so satisfying to talk about how little we need them. It's not the point...
