I know it's only one drive, but we are easily winning the line of scrimmage. Team just needs to perform.

I think it was the right call. Better than having Mond try to force it, plus you make it a little easier on the freshman kicker.

The Oline and running game looked good on the first drive. Decision making in the pass game....not so much.

Mond needs to sit for a while. Seriously QBs learn in high school to get the snap off without letting the play clock expire. This has been a problem in every game.

He threw 2 passes, one was terrible. Then he fails to find an open receiver, taking intentional grounding. Yeah, I'm still doubting.
He can run.though.. Run him more.
We're making some mistakes consistently. Our offense can't figure out how to score in the red zone, clock awareness by Mond is poor, and mond throwing the ball while standing in the middle of The Tackle Box. these are just three of about five or six mistakes that we consistently make, there's no excuse for making the same mistakes over and over again.

I don't think Mond is dumb as some suggest, I have no way to know that. So much of his game though makes me think that he is a slower thinker than the speed of the game. If so, then I think he is as good as he is going to ever get.
Did James Foster redshirt at QB? I don't see how Mond can be our guy long term with his limitations passing. I thought Mond made major strides this off season but he's again back to being inconsistent at best.
