This isn't much of a poll. It appears there are 12 voters. That means, every single ballot looked like this:

1. Texas
2. Texas A&M
3. Texas Tech
4. BU/TCU/UNT
5. BU/TCU/UNT
6. Houston
7. BU/TCU/UNT
8. SMU
9. UTSA
10. Texas State
11. Rice
12. UTEP

There was only a slight variation in how folks voted for spots 4, 5 and 7.
There was likely variation at spot 6 as well. Even though the total points was exactly 84, you can't be sure they got all 6th place points, because spots both ahead and behind them are uncertain. If 10 people voted them 6th, 1 at 5th, and 1 at 7th, they also would have got 84.

Conference Cream:
West Virginia: thrashed by Iowa state
Oklahoma: needed overtime to beat Army. No defense whatsoever
Texas: lost to Maryland.

Oh well. No shame in mid October playoff elimination.
