How is it targeting when he hit with his shoulder?
Because he hit him IN THE HEAD. I don't know what's so hard about this. GET THE F DOWN.
So when the receiver ducks or is just a lot smaller than you? Y'all don't realize everything is happening so fast out there.
You make it sound like he launched himself into the guy. He was absolutely doing his GD'est to AVOID contact. That was a horse crap call and every one of y'all know it. You just don't wanna sound like "blame the refs". I don't either. But I'll call a pile of horse **** a pile of horse ****Escobars army said:
Wilson is such an idiot. Anyone trying to defend him is simply trying to ignore the new rules. He left his feet to hit a guy high that was potentially defenseless. Bench him until he can figure it out. It's unreal how much he puts himself in spots like that.

Astros time. Need to watch a team hungry to put it away and stay in the gas.
Clearly you didnt watch the last play. He is going to drill him to break up the pass, sees it fall incomplete and then pulls up from the hit. In doing so, he makes incidental contact up high on the receiver .There is no follow through hit, he's actually pulling away from him. That play is not why targeting is in the game to protect players. The refs, or the review committee need to use their common sense. Has the review team ever overturned a targeting call?Aftershock_88 said:ClassOf17 said:Aftershock_88 said:A Net Full of Jello said:

Trust me I've played the game. I understand it's happening fast. He was posted up 10 yards away and ran that distance towards the WR. He had time to make an adjustment or get down. You've got to start trying to avoid it. I'm not saying it's right. I hate the rule, but that's the game. That hit is going to get called every time. If you want to stay in the game you've got to make an adjustment to the way you play.
Why was it reviewed so quickly? We got to see like 2 replays, none in slo-mo, and have no idea where he hit him. Didn't look to me like it could have been targeting, but I have no idea what the replay officials saw.phatbc said:
He didn't hit him in the head
seem pretty consistent to me on this board. texas never gets them called & every aggie one called is stupid dumb wrong.TyperWoods said:
Targeting calls are too inconsistent.
