We couldn't run the ball with our RB, Kellen had till about 2 Mississippi to throw the Ball all day and we got 0 pressure on Tua.....we did not win the line of scrimmage.

The defensive line held their own against a top 5 offensive line. They didnt run between the tackles for squat either.

Our defensive line is legit.

Our offensive line wasnt as bad as most want to make it out to be. A lot of it was on Mond or our recievers not getting open. You cant sit back in the pocket all day against a top 5 drfensive line, which is what Alabama has.

Our offesnive line has room to improve, but they arent bad and nobody we play is going to have the caliber of li ement that Clemson and Alabama have.

At worst it was a push. They beat us passing and running outside where we failed to tackle worth a crap.

Their skill positions on both sides are what owned us. Their WR blew our secondary away and their secondary was on us like glue. Our only real advantage was size at WR but didn't do anything with it.

Saban was referring to his OL when they ran it versus our defensive front seven. Our DL is actually pretty good. We have 3 to 4 guys in the DL two deep that will get drafted (Madubuike, Keke, possibly Mack as a situational type player, and I think some of the backups like Rogers, Moton, Peevy and Dallo have the potential in a couple of years). We need at least one elite edge rusher, but our DTs are legit. A couple of our linebackers will also get a shot at the NFL also (Dodson will get drafted, Alaka has a chance, Durham as an LB or special teams player and Hines and Johnson have the potential).

Our OL was getting abused though. I was kind of surprised because I really believed that Clemson's DL was equal or slightly better than Bama's DL. Bama's back seven are head and shoulders better than Clemson. Clemson had a great young safety and one good corner, but Alabama is solid across the board and they have a ton of quality depth with little to no drop off.

In two years time though, I believe we will have an offensive line that is in the top 3 in the SEC which is what it is going to take to beat Bama along with everything else being solid. Right now, I would say our OL is middle of the pack in the SEC.

Give Fisher a little time. Geez. He will be your NC winning coach if he's given a chance. It takes time.

Uh, yeah we do. It's really all that we have. 10 years (and $75M) to be exact!

Tu'a got flushed from the pocket a couple times. The problem was, Tu'a can actually run.

So could Kellen.

Saban has to find something to be upset about or he risks losing the edge that his team plays with. USC from the mid-2000's is a good example of talent without that need to constantly work to get better. Alabama's inability to run when they wanted is a good thing to harp on. Of course it didn't matter in the end, but that isn't the point. The only other thing he could focus on is his kicking game, but no one cares about the coach getting mad at the kicker.

Disagree. There were plays were their DL won, no doubt. That happens every game on every team though. Most of the plays that didn't go our way were a combination of Mond getting happy feet and/or not having a place to dump the ball off too or flat missing an open guy.

We got whipped in the skill positions by their receivers and their secondary, that part of the game wasn't even close.

Saban has to do something to keep his guys from getting bored.
