We are not ranked...they're freakin number 2. I like this situation.
We need to run some screens, draws, and lateral plays to get that DL moving laterally instead of vertically. They are eating our OL right now.
Held a #2 team in the nation to 14 points after the first half. We had much worse offenses tack a lot more points against our D in the past many years. I'll take it.
I support my Aggies 100% win or lose, without complaint and without reservation.

No. Keep Mond going and continue developing him. Don't mess with his confidence now. He's the long term answer for this team, and he's playing ok against a fantastic defense. He's a young player still, and going in the right direction.

I will be surprised to see Will Starkel on the team in the Spring.
Down 14-3 at half? Yeah, that's not winning but sure as heck is not awful.
Screens have been there, Kellen just couldn't quite the ball to the right place with that line coming at him, and he needed another second or two for it to "come open". But they were looking like good screens, just didn't have enough time to set it up fully... if we can get the ball in the right place in this half we might be able to pop some good onesgigemtrev said:

They way you improve is to play, not get pulled because some fans are panicking. Young team, young QB. They're growing together.
Besides, take away that fluke td, it could be 7-3 right now. Or make our FGs, and it could be 9-7.

Mond is doing fine. Our lack of a running game and those weird slow developing runs out of the pistol are not helping.

Both teams lucky the score is 14-3. Could easily be 21-3 or 14-16. Let's fix the mistakes and win the 2nd half!
I'm encouraged by the defense stopping them the last couple series. Wish we would have scored, but it was looking early in the 2nd quarter like we were outmatched everywhere on the field, the team seems to have calmed down and it's looking like a game again.
