8-4 would be nice but not how reasonable that is.

None of us want to concede any games but we are likely starting 2-2 and everybody knows that. We have never beaten LSU. That is 3 losses right there.

8-4 in year 1....sign me up for that right now....especially if we are looking better and making games against Clemson and Bama competitive.

This team lost to Ole Miss last year.

Not enough knowledge about the current strength of our team versus our opponents to make an informed guess on our record but I would hope that we could go 8-4 in the regular season with no loss of more than 10 points.

Realistic? 8-4, maybe 9-3 on high end, 6-6 on low end

Near lock losses: Clemson and at Bama
Likely losses: at Auburn (i know we have never lost there)
Underdog games: at Miss St, at SC
Tossups: lsu
Slight favorite: ole miss, arkie, kentucky

We could get hot and win 9, we could sputter out of the gate and win 5. I would say statistically 7-5 would be where i would put the odds at, which Vegas agrees.

quick note...the Ags won in Oxford last year. It was Sumlin's final win for A&M

If we don't screw up a few of the close ones: 8-4

If the furk train comes early and stays long: 5-7

I feel there is a subtle irony/karma A&M is going to bear witness to where we end up 5-7 and unlike Florida State last year there won't be a way we are invited to a bowl game .

we are unlikely to defeat either Clemson or the bammers, but should keep both at least interesting into the fourth quarter

I cannot see how Jimbo can take a loss at SCar when they couldn't defeat Sumlin
that leaves three really interesting games with Auburn, MsSt, and L$U. I think we take the tiggers and split the other two

Fitzgerald's and stidham's health, muschamp's ability to field a competent O and shirking the LSU bugaboo are the will decide between 6 and 10 wins before the bowl.

Of course, there are outlier wins/losses in the Bama/Clemson and other games, but they should happen as we all see them happening.

7-5 or 8-4. I believe it will be dictated by how we play Clemson. If somehow we pull that one off we could go 8-4.

Thanks HoustonAg. Forgot about that...I guess I was just getting used to losing to them.

Well I'm off to Coach's Night in Dallas so after I hear Jimbo I might come back here and say we don't lose a game this year!!!!

If we pull that one off we'll almost certainly be better than 8-4. Clemson is arguably the best team we'll play this year.

Considering Jimbo went 5-6 with a better team in a worse conference last season I'd say 6-6 is optimistic
