2019 Fort Bend Bush cornerback Erick Young commits to Texas A&M
Standout 2019 Ft Bend Bush cornerback Erick Young has committed to Texas A&M. The 6-2, 195-pound cover man out of southwest Houston chose the Aggies over offers from Texas, Georgia, Oklahoma, Ohio State, LSU and TCU. Young is the 21st commitment of the 2019 class and joins Brian Williams, Demani Richardson and Bobby Wolfe as pledges to Mike Elko's defensive backfield.
After emerging on the scene during last offseason's camp circuit, Young turned in an outstanding junior campaign that put him in a group of the most coveted secondary players in Texas for 2019. He combines great length with next level physicality to cause receivers big time issues at the line of scrimmage. Check out his junior film below:
Young has a close relationship with fellow top corner prospect and A&M commit Bobby Wolfe of Houston Madison.
