Ah Okay, that makes more sense. I would love to buy one, but I've resisted buying any NFL jerseys for $150+ much less a CFL jersey...
TylerAg16 said:
Not sure if the website is reflecting this, but the US dollar is worth more than the Canadian one, so the jersey probably is only $160-70 in terms of USD (too lazy to do the actual conversion). Still too much though if you ask me.

So Johnny playing in Canada is such a big deal that ESPN will show more games because of it? Sorry, I just don't think so. I hope he does well but he's not that big of a deal to televised football.

I was hanging out with a couple of Canadians a few weeks ago, and they brought up Johnny out if the blue. Said they were watching and waiting in hopes Johnny would sign a CFL contract, and would make it a point to watch his games.
Not sure if CFL will get any more air time in the US or not. But I was very surprised that they even knew about Johnny, let alone hoping for him to come to Canada to play. He's definitely a draw up there.
schmellba99 - BOOM!! - your response to mr. "dumb" started my day well. Thanks. His comments are a perfect microcosm of why the left ultimately fails. Talk about dumb...schmellba99 said:I don't think you understand how things actually work, especially with things like the myth of "free" or "affordable".Jbob88 said:AlphaCharlieUniformAggie said:
Wow, that was fast.
For a nation of quasi socialists they seemed to figure out the finer points of supply and demand tout de suite.
Dumb.
The bad socialism is a 100% planned economy which abolishes the private business sector. Nobody in the modern 1st world espouses that. The countries your type would call Socialist too are countries like Sweden, Finland, Denmark, Finland, and maybe even Germany - who provides free college, affordable national healthcare, and is also the highest populated country in Europe.. All countries who outperform America in just about everything. Canada is still relatively conservative compared to the advanced progressive countries but they do have national healthcare even among conservatives (like the rest of the world's right-wingers) instead of private industry exploiting their citizens. Those other countries outperform America in basically everything - including Business Environement, citizen happiness, standard of living, education, healthcare costs PER CAPITA, etc. And if you get a job on those counties, you can live without being on welfare. Canada is only one with the balls to legalize weed though!
It amazes me that people actually buy into this garbage, and willfully omit certain things. For example - let's just look at the income tax as a % of income for these super awesome countries that you love so much but somehow don't have the backbone to actually move to:
Sweden - 61.85%
Finland - 51.60%
Denmark - 55.80%
Finland (you listed it twice, so I did too) - 51.60%
Germany - a paltry 47.50%
Tell me again how "free" and "affordable" are really in the picture? How many folks go to Germany or Finland or Denmark or Canada for healthcare, btw? None of those are recognized as world leaders in health care (please, please, please don't go post the WHO list - because it's garbage and everybody knows it).
But hey, nothing like a good stupid rant to make you feel good huh?

It is a decent price compared to the ugly A&M polos they roll out for $80 (I agree not all are ugly).John Francis Donaghy said:TylerAg16 said:

Probably closer to $150. Agree that it's still way too much for a shirt though.
I wear football jerseys and I am over 11. But I am very immature.ashley said:
Surely no one over the age if 11 would wear a football jersey.

Given his production (MOST entertaining) on the field for the Ags.... I can forgive any of indiscretions post his time at A&M... he's paying the dues for that... but having orange in his jersey is totally TOTALLY unforgivable.

$200 - no thanks ($119 for a generic jersey and $80 to customize it)
Anyone know where you can buy them cheaper?
