Just tossed my collection away last week. I had every issue going back to 1965.

Everyone is clearly missing the lead story here. What is up with the 1982 uniforms? Kubiak has a dark maroon helmet with two stars on the front that in no way matches the red-maroonish jersey he is wearing. At first I thought the picture was in some East/West All-Star game, but it is a photo from the Cougar High game. What a terrible look!

I think in that era Tom Wilson handed them out for good plays sort of like the Ohio State buckeye stickers on the helmet.

Dave Campbell editors do peruse TexAgs to get a "feel" of whats going on in Aggieland. A good example happened some years ago when the magazine printed a recruiting update in which they had a positive statement about every team in the Big XII, except when they congratulated OSU for flipping a player we had recruited to them.
This was the last straw for Aggies again saw the AntiAggie bias rearing its ugly head and immediately called for a boycott of Texas Football.
The editors actually came on TexAgs to defend themselves and to apologize for any slight they may have caused.
