Wish you the best, Koda. You've represented A&M well and I'm sure will continue to do so.

Wish him luck, would have been nice to have for experience and depth, but I think he was getting passed up by the younger guys.

playing again will risk his life...he'd be smart to end his football playing days. Heat Stroke isnt something you survive if lucky but you don't recover or heal from.

His wife probably doesn't appreciate that.

His dad helped us get a lot of good kids on campus.

Koda never fully developed here and maybe playing for his dad at Syr. is what he needs.

Good luck to him in his future endeavors.

Actually if he suffered a heatstroke issue then upstate NY sounds pretty good.

Thought he was the starter in spring ball?

Not surprised at all by this after his dad got the assistant job up there.

Good luck Koda.

Can't blame a guy for wanting to play for his dad and father-in-law.

Knew a few people close to Koda and they all said he was a phenomenal man. Good luck at Syracuse big guy!

hate to say it...but A&M's history with married players (or once they get married) is not good. Too many / too much obligations off the field

Too bad but obviously he feels it's the best choice for him and that's all that matters. Some attrition was bound to happen eventually. Good luck Koda

Spring Camp started with all the previous years starters in their spot, but I don't think he would have held on to the spot during Fall camp.

I think it is a combination of family and depth chart. Koda was always a solid player that was on the verge of being a good starter and just never turned the corner to being a true starting SEC lineman. Even last year, he was solid, but was beat often, just doesn't have the talent and quickness to play left tackle in the SEC.

That being said, I hope he does well up north. He was always a class act, can't blame him for wanting to follow family whether he was going to be a starter here next season or not.

Did you not see Dan Moore in the spring game? He had himself a nice game, and I bet he's the frontrunner to start. Massive kid with good quickness

We will miss you, KMart formerly known as the Maroon Light Special. I know the newspaper said it was heat stroke but it sounded more like Rhabdo to me. Footnote I am not a doctor. Sometimes I think this Junction Boys stuff just goes too far. This is people's lives.

This amount of well-wishing for a player who's leaving is a bit interesting.

If he was going to start for us at tackle, there would be more teeth gnashing about him leaving.

Plus, he almost lost his life and it would be insensitive and tactless to bash the young man right now.

Yep. Much easier to just be a baby daddy. T&P for Koda. Hope he gets his life together.
