As if the Jimbo ranking wasn't dumb enough. Considering the injuries and the abnormal start of the season. 3 weeks between games due to a hurricane. Not to mention the true freshman QB was directly responsible for them losing most of those games. He was terrible until they played the patsies to finish the season. He has talent and will be good in the future but, losing Francois was the killer.

Never mind all the high quality assistant hires Jimbo brought to A&M, which might be a better barometer on the quality of the coach. Typical trash journalism. Probably a hit piece paid for by a select Athletic Dept. or two, ya think?

Get use to it guys. Whenever the media talks about Jimbo, they will always gonna hold that $75MM guaranteed contract over his head and use that as a measuring stick. Nothing short of a national championship in the next 3 years will make them think that he's worth that type of money.

When the standard is competing for national championships it's fair to say what Jimbo did this season was pretty terrible, regardless of attrition. It's clear he had lost the team just a few weeks into the season.
