I am not sure it is either of those. I think it is more an issue of having a jackhole like that continue to embarrass TAMU.Jock 07 said:
Never have understood the intense animosity towards or perhaps jealousy of Buzbee

no he is not, drama queencevans_40 said:
He is an embarrassment to Aggies everywhere.
Yes. Could also name some for UH and UTA. And people who attended other schools can name regents at their alma maters just like you can. Zoo posters seem to think that any A&M news is uniquely snowflaky special. Sorry to tell you, a lot of lies were told at Fish Camp.Quote:
Can you name a regent at any other SEC school?

Probably because a bunch of insecure dorks on the Zoo are obsessed with anyone associated with the administration and think this stuff actually effects their lives in some way. Sad to quite sad.
There is no animus anywhere in my comment. I did not even know who the man was until he commented after the UCLA game. So, considering the fact that he was not on my radar prior to that I think even you can deduce what his actions have done in the public's view.RPM said:then what you are describing is animosity.Sharpshooter said:

The butthurt continues. Some Folks refuse to accept that infamous Aggies like Manziel and Buzbee do not actually represent every other Aggie in the world.
Not sure what's more comical: Fast Tony getting tangled up with a BSC chick or all the fake outrage by posters who thinks Tony Buzbee in some way affects them.

Many people here don't seem to understand that the same things happen at every large university. You think everything that happens at A&M is unique and that the whole world is watching. This board is great for humor and casual discussion, but the second a member of the administration is in the news, posters like you come out of the woodwork to turn it into a high school drama.TXAggie2011 said:Quote:

Outside of TexAgs, Buzbee is mainly known as a rich and flamboyant trial lawyer. And his personal life doesn't effect you or me in any way.
Repeating another poster's dumbass assertion just validates my thoughts on the circle jerk. I ain't the one throwing a hissy fit.Quote:

Agree that he should resign or be dismissed from the BOR. I thought that after the Fire Sumlin thing after the UCLA game. Buzbee has embarrassed A&M too much. Strike 3 is enough. The guy is not good for Texas A&M. Money talks...and at times it says the wrong things.
You couldn't be more wronger man. We are in the SEC baby. This is exactly the type of guy we need associated with our school. Do you think Miami would give up all their national championships to have been a goody two shoes football program? Hell no and neither should we.
More wronger? You sure you didn't get your degree at General Dollar?
At least I'm not stupider than you. You moran.

I knew Buzbee in school. I guarantee you he is not one of the board members wanting to flood A&M with 100000 students and lowering our academic standing to that of tech. Who he bangs is none of anyone's business, and I guarantee you none of those other board members are squeaky clean in that department.

You sound like money.
Oh, I agree on that. Kind of my point. I've been on this board long enough to see the usual pearl-cluthers come out of the woodwork and start lashing out with personal attacks at university leaders and even other posters whenever they think they've got an excuse.TXAggie2011 said:
And p.s. I imagine people didn't see this story and suddenly decide they wished he wasn't running the A&M University system...obviously this deeper than some date gone terribly wrong.

You could not be more wrong in this assertion. I can't tell you how many smarmy comments I have had to ignore since the UCLA thing. And, those I am sure to get when I return to work due to this incedent. So, yes, his actions do have an affect on others.ChiliBeans said:Many people here don't seem to understand that the same things happen at every large university.
