True. Give Fisher a chance to talk to him and establish his staff. If he is hurt because FSU didn't offer then Fisher can explain that we didn't think we'd get you or we had a guy closer that we felt better landing and didn't want to waste your or our time. OR, maybe Fisher doesn't think he'll be worth a damn.schwack schwack said:
All the things he envisions in his post are still here, they didn't leave with Sumlin.

Leon will be OK. The Aggies will be OK. We'll be OK. It's OK.

Based off of what we know, this probably has something to do with Jimbo not offering Leon after he flew up there for a visit or who Jimbo has decided to retain (or fire) from the staff.

Oh is he one of those? Smh his decision making is suspect anyway, then.
He runs a 4.53, not a 4.76. He's also only going to get faster with training.Heisenberg01 said:
Rankings mean something but aren't everything. We've had enough safeties that run 4.76 who can't cover a wheel route to convince me it isn't a big loss. Especially when you throw in the drama queen attitude the guy has. First he was leaving to Clemson, now BlowU, next will be he's taking a trip to tu. Bye Felicia!
I do. I want Leon O'Nealjohnnyblaze36 said:

And nobody gives a chit, kid.
That's not how it works and you know it.Agsttt said:
You commit to a school, NOT a coach........ever. Any kid who doesn't get that is severely lacking even the most basic cognitive skills.
I don't really want that guy though. We shouldn't be trading elite recruits for average three stars. We need to do better than that if we want to be elite.Farmer @ Johnsongrass, TX said:
Maybe he thinks this guy - Israel Mukuamu - is coming with Jimbo since he decommitted from FSU a couple of days ago (11/29).
No he doesn't. Even if he did, it would be his right to do so and there would be no sense in anyone getting triggered over it. We recruit guys who are good at football, and not because their political viewpoints align with ours.Good Aggie Hunting said:

If Jimbo didn't offer him then we probably don't need him. Jimbo has had stacked Defensive talent the past 4-5 years.HSFootballAg24 said:
Per his Twitter:
He's rated as the 83rd best player and 7th best safety per composite in the class of 2018. This is a huge loss as he was our highest rated commit and a damn good safety.

I don't care what Jimbo wants. He's an idiot if he'd take the Bossier safety over Leon O'Neal (unless it's a package deal to get Terrace Marshall as well). Jimbo isn't infallible and it's amazing how much blind faith some of y'all are already putting into him.Lateralus Ag said:HSFootballAg24 said:I don't really want that guy though. Thankfully, we don't need to care who you want. I am going to say it again. I will be happy with whomever Jimbo recruits. And I am pretty sure that Jimbo doesn't care who you want either.
HTH.
Fair enough. And I think you are wrong to get so involved and worried over this 1 recruit.HSFootballAg24 said:
I was wrong on one prediction. We all do that sometimes. Not even the ESPN guys who get paid millions a year get it all correct. That's no reason to discredit other things that I say. I still think that Georgia thumps Aurburn and then Alabama makes it to the playoffs, but we'll see.
By the way...not just a prediction. You guaranteed me that Bama would win the SEC. We don't all make bad guarantees as you did.HSFootballAg24 said:

That's definitely a fair point. I'm worried because he was our highest rated commit and decommitted when we hired Jimbo. I don't want any guys to follow him, and I don't want to have to replace him with a player who isn't as good. There's definitely still an ok chance that we get him though.Onionman said:Fair enough. The guy may still commit to A&M and/or might end up being a bust. Why worry so much over this 1 recruit?
