True. Give Fisher a chance to talk to him and establish his staff. If he is hurt because FSU didn't offer then Fisher can explain that we didn't think we'd get you or we had a guy closer that we felt better landing and didn't want to waste your or our time. OR, maybe Fisher doesn't think he'll be worth a damn.

Lots of people have made poor decisions over arrogant butthurt in life only to realize later that if they'd just had remained calm and not made irrational choices it would have worked out much better.

You have to be able to do better than that.

As far as him leaving because of Sumlin it's probably for the best if that is the reason especially if he is one of the high school kneelers.

Rankings mean something but aren't everything. We've had enough safeties that run 4.76 who can't cover a wheel route to convince me it isn't a big loss. Especially when you throw in the drama queen attitude the guy has. First he was leaving to Clemson, now BlowU, next will be he's taking a trip to tu. Bye Felicia!

He runs a 4.53, not a 4.76. He's also only going to get faster with training.

If Jimbo didn't offer him then we probably don't need him. Jimbo has had stacked Defensive talent the past 4-5 years.

I was wrong on one prediction. We all do that sometimes. Not even the ESPN guys who get paid millions a year get it all correct. That's no reason to discredit other things that I say. I still think that Georgia thumps Aurburn and then Alabama makes it to the playoffs, but we'll see.

Check out his laser timed 40 at the Nike regional combine. Looks like he didn't run it at the national combine. I don't care what a hand timed 40 looks like from a hs coach. Players don't typically drastically decrease 40 times by the time they get to college. Frequently their time goes up as they have to add 20+ pounds in order to make it through a college season.

I don't care what Jimbo wants. He's an idiot if he'd take the Bossier safety over Leon O'Neal (unless it's a package deal to get Terrace Marshall as well). Jimbo isn't infallible and it's amazing how much blind faith some of y'all are already putting into him.

That's definitely a fair point. I'm worried because he was our highest rated commit and decommitted when we hired Jimbo. I don't want any guys to follow him, and I don't want to have to replace him with a player who isn't as good. There's definitely still an ok chance that we get him though.
