It has been incredibly obvious and already unofficially official since the Auburn loss. Miss St really.

Sumlin knows a lot and the staff know it, regardless of one article.

It's not going to get ugly. Every university freaks out because of change. Every local media stirs the pot by highlighting "anger". Every fanbase experiences doubt of both decisions: to release a coach and the hire of the next.

Too true. The LSU game has been the difference in which lower tier bowl we went to. Playing for 4th or 5th in the SEC West.

I remember years when the Arkansas/LSU game Thanksgiving Friday determined who went to Atlanta.

The "staff found out" woe is me stories are ridiculous. It's not like it was the AD that leaked the news or made an official announcement. The university wouldn't want to handle it in such a crass manner if they had the choice. You have to get the money lined up to do stuff like this and money likes to feel important and talk.
