you don't need to make as comprehensive of a search when one of your main targets is interested. look at florida and chip kelly. they got that deal done quick, and i'd wager a lot of folks are calling it a home run hire.Goose61 said:

I live 30 min north of Tally. There has been some serious smoke for a week and a half. I really hope it's not true. I think he wants out. FSURE has no money a crappy fan base. They are the result of a hot bead of recruiting. I'm not a Jimbo fan. He is the worst when it comes to taking advantage of his skill set. Offense is slow needs an amazing QB to make it go. Can't recruit WR's or O-lineman.

FSU is not giving him more money or a new contract. If a school like Texas A&M throws significantly more money at him they have a good shot at landing him unless there's something else keeping him in Tallahassee. Hoping this isn't true. If he was having the season he's having there while at A&M we'd want him gone. He doesn't seem like he'd be a good influence either.
