They are definitely a sensitive bunch. They still haven't figured out that the Rooster McGee that gets them riled up every year is catfishing them to achieve his own agenda.

I live in Charlotte so I'm around Gamecock fans quite a bit. They're pretty much like any other fan base. They have it all....the good, the bad, the ugly.
I've been to both of our football games in Columbia. I saw none of the bad behavior described here. I wasn't treated badly, but wasn't really treated well either....just meh. I did have a blast at an Aggie baseball game there, but we are talking a different crowd and atmosphere.
One of the guidance counselors at my son's high school is a very vocal Gamecock. During "how to apply to college" night, she was hell bent on telling us USCe had the highest rated business school in the country. She only got eye rolls which I why I guess she kept persisting. No idea what "rating" she was talking about.

Saw this from the Gamecock poster earlier as well. US News ranked it as the #1 "International MBA" sub-specialty but #71 overall.
