John Sharp spoke at Dallas Muster in about 1993. He turned it into a political grandstand about his "Lone Star" card program. I remember thinking then that he disgraced his Alma Mater and all Aggies. Especially those that we were there to honor. He's a liberal at heart and I don't care what anybody says, that stadium cost close to a billion dollars to build. Not the $500M that he claims. He has saddled the University w/ debt and further diluted the Aggie diploma.

Yes OP, I agree some of our posters here are young. Loren -- are you in 4th grade?

I agree with the OP that the regents are smart and accomplished in their particular fields. However, the performance of the athletic department, especially football but others as well, proves the point that people who are smart and accomplished in their field do not necessarily have the ability to manage other areas outside their expertise equally as well.
