In spite of another losing season, Texags bypassed Dec. & March and jumped straight to May (9 wins). By May it will be BCS bowl and by August it will be National Championship. For the record, I'm predicting 8-5.

You forgot to add one of my all-time favorite December/January themes: "The season didn't go the way we planned (due to epic beatings/November losing streaks )and it left a bad taste in everyone's mouth. We'll use that as motivation in the offseason to work harder".

Don't forget all of the defensive guru's on this board talking about what they would do to fix our defense by around October. I mean, we will have threads dedicated to the super cheetah back, bring back the 3-4, bring back the 4-3, let's run a 3-3-5, let's just bring the house on every play, let's quit blitzing and focus on bend but don't break, can we move some of running backs to safety, fire torbush, fire darnell, bring back RC, let's bring in Bob Davies, Dat for DC, etc...

PJ - there are a few outliers (9+wins or 4 wins), but most here seem to be predicting between 5-7 and 8-5, with a lot of 7-6. I don't sense an excess of maroon koolaid. This reminds me of the summer of 2004.
