OP - nice troll job... Coach Sumlin is doing a great job and if you can't see it - its because you don't want to.

Chavis turned the defense around, Turner brought the running game back and did wonders the O-line. I would assume Sumlin doesn't have play calling duties.
Spav was mishandled and three five star qbs were mishandled. It appears that KK did a great job by all accounts.
I think the jury is still out.
So ... Despite having a very solid win/loss record under the adversities mentioned above, you still think the jury is out? Goodness gracious.

I get it.
It's not that he won poorly, he won poorly in week 5 when his teams tend to start falling apart. It makes it look like we will repeat all of the mistakes from previous years. SC is not good. How are we going to beat Alabama on the road if we struggle with SC? At the same time the offensive problems of the previous years are rearing their ugly head again.
For now, I'll chalk it up to a bad game. But some are more cynical, warranting the negativity.

Man it is tough to read the posts on this board. If we do not win 72-3 the team sucks, or Sumlin is overrated, or we are lucky to have Chavis (who Sumlin hired by the way). If the other team turns the ball over, we were just fortunate, yet let's forget about Kirk fumbling the punt return to open up Arkansas, or how about our fumble on the goal line as well? Do those not count? Against SC, Knight's fumble at the 50, his untimely INT, him missing two wide open receivers on the deep ball, Kirk dropping a critical 3rd down when we were moving the ball, or our missed FG....what about those? How about two dropped TD passes against Auburn? I mean, it is ridiculous how many people on here think everything goes your way for four quarters. The difference between this team and any we have had in the last 20 years, is that they can still get the job done, despite the setbacks a team encounters over four quarters...they would lay down and get steamrolled in years past.
This team played very poorly yesterday, with 4 key players out and a 5th in Ford going out early, yet still did what needed to be done to win on the road. How some of you still complain, is beyond me.

Save Saban and Meyer (who we would never get) every coach over the last four years that according the TexAgs coaching talent scouts was "the guy we need Sumlin to be more like" have alll since had shi*t the bed games...some against Sumlin himself. I remember specifically the names:
1) Bielema
2) Malzahn
3) Fisher
4) Freeze
And that's without getting out of our division.
Others can add to this list, I'm sure.
