My original ring from 1986 was stolen from my hotel room in Mexico when on vacation. Ordered another one shortly thereafter and I have not parted with it since!

My ring was stolen from work. Five years later I get a call from Bryan police department to come to the police station. Apparently they found my ring and identified it because my name was on the inside and called the twelfth man.

Asked me if I had ever lived at a certain apartment complex. "No"

Do you Joe XXXXXXXX? "No".

Okay here is your ring. "where did you find it?"

You don't want to know. It was the only shiny thing in a very bad place.

Whoever stole it had cut the bottom and widened it so they could where it.

Took it to A jeweler who fixed it.

I don't take it off and when I go to the lake I wear a glove so I won't lose it.

A few years later my father in laws fell off into Camp Creek. My brother in laws looked for a day and couldn't find it. Knowing how important it was for him I swam around where he lost it for hours. Pitch black it was acting like a catfish scouring the bottom.

When I found it and gave it to Mr. Sistrunk tears were in his eyes. Giving him his ring was probably the fourth best day of my life. Felt even better than when I got my own ring back.

Vacationing in Acapulco 12 years ago with my wife, three young daughters, teenage niece, and her friend. Took my ring off and put it in the safe deposit box because it was slipping in the surf due to having sunscreen on. On the day we left, I took what I thought was everything out of the safe and left it open for the next person. We weren't in the air five minutes when I felt my finger and immediately knew what I had done. When we got home, my wife called down to the resort and reported the ring that I left, room number etc, and waited. Thankfully, the next day they called us back and told us they had the ring. Great, I thought, box it up and send it home. Problem was, they would under no circumstances ship the ring because they could not insure it. Told the wife, next day off, I was flying back down there to get it. My niece was at the house when we were discussing this and stated that she and her friend had been hanging out with an English boy, and his family were staying a few days longer. My wife then got on the phone and correlated with the resort to contact these English folks and see if they would mind taking the ring home with them and shipping it from England. She got them on the phone and they agreed to do this for us, and about 14 days later, what do you know, my '86 class ring arrived in the mail from London. Good Bull

Meh. Just another overpriced piece of jewelry that sits in a box at home. About as big of a deal as the so called 'aggie network'.
I feel sorry for you if that's how you truly feel. Sad really. I even question the authenticity of this post.

1970, I was on leave from Basic Combat Training in Ft Jackson South Carolina. I flew into Dallas Love field where I met my parents in the middle of the terminal, as I shook hands with my Dad he handed me my ring. It's been with me ever since.

so i hadnt worn my ring in a while , but i notice it sermed lighter and very "steel" like. i looked inside and my name wasmissing and replaced with some garbled jibberish. i realized i must havebtaken the ring to a jeweler some time ago whi screwed me over and replaced my ring with a fake. i inquired with Registrar and advised replacement ring would be $35,000. i then woke up. that dream was last night! whoa!!

Went fishing below Max Starke Dam on Lake Marble Falls in summer of '88? Slipped on a rock, put my hand out to keep from falling, and the edge of a rock caught it. It slipped off my finger, and I haven't seen it since. I went back the next day with an underwater metal detector. No luck. I was heart-broken. It might still be there somewhere. I'm on my second, and hopefully, last ring.

I was in serious debt when I graduated. Then I had to save for a house and paying off student loans. Then people told me I couldn't be driving a ford escort in Westlake. Then it was a boat, a slip, a ranch, a barn, fences, etc. I never could justify spending that kind of money on gold jewelry. I already had the ring that ruled me, $99 for the set and $35 for the Justice of the Peace ceremony.

I'm so cheap I can't pay attention. What was I rambling on about? Rings, still not going to pay for one.

Soon after getting my ring in 2009 a drunk, bald guy at chili fest threw a full beer can at the face of my girlfriend, now wife, and the fiance of my best friend because they were laughing at him for being so drunk. I walked up and punched him in the side of the head and his skull put a nice dent in my ring just below the '09.
