I met his mother in Erie.

I was there for a wedding, and happened to stop into a bar where she was a waitress. I don't keep up with football much anymore, but within a few minutes of talking to her, she was talking about James. He's obviously a really special guy and player, and I wish his family the best. His mom was a class act.

Read the Sports Illustrated article about him the other day - what an amazing story! Seems like a really great guy, I'll be rooting for him this year.
