I still find it odd that you always receive "late night calls" with all of your scoops. Your sources are that giddy to tell someone that they go out of their way to call you specifically after 10pm?

Really? "Always"? My, what big teeth you have grandma....
Sometimes I worked in secure environments when I was consulting. All personal electronics are left in the car trunk. But, even at that - I'd say such late night calls were and are rare. Most of the information was/is exchanged on the fairway. Golf is just the perfect game. Heck, I played golf with a couple of posters from TexAgs. We talked about a lot of things. We talked about Sumlin. One had me over to dinner with his family. Great Ags.
Look, hide the teeth, click on a rojo thread and just enjoy the entertainment. Life is too short to do otherwise.

Where's Sumlin at the end of the year and who's the target?
quote:Okay, I'm good with that...now if someone can tell me what dunked means in this context....PM me or ?quote:quote:I just want to know one thing Rojo and that'll tell me all I need to know..quote:

Where's Sumlin at the end of the year and who's the target?
I can't give out the target in public. But, I can say he is dunked a lot. I stay away from Sumlin chatter - it got me in trouble with certain folks last year.
quote:I hope he does. I really like him. I think the players like him too. Obviously kyle and kyler left but lets be honest. Those kids couldnt handle it. The thing I like most about Sumlin is his willingness to change. New OC, new Efforts to maintain effectiveness through out season, new recovery process. Alot better than fran doing the same thing over and over for a number of years. Lets not forget we are playing in the the best and toughest conference in college football.quote:If he grossly underperforms I'd say so but if he does another 7-9 wins in the regular season I'd bet he sticks around for at least one more year.
So you think sumlin will be gone after this year?

quote:Forced? The QB debacle was of Sumlin's own making. New offense? Mazzone's offense appears to be more of the same thing Sumlin wants...mainly snapping the ball with 15 seconds left on each down. The defense needs to be top notch with that type of offense because if you can't convert, the D gets no rest.quote:When you're forced to go with a graduate transfer that has been extremely inconsistent in the past with a brand new offense and lost 90% of your experienced oline I would say that it is at the top end of underperforming. If Sumlin has a year like Strong's first 2 then he is gone. I will maintain that a 7-5 year won't get rid of Sumlin when his detractors couldn't get him out with an 8-5 and losing all of our QB depth in the same year.quote:7 wins is not 'grossly underperforming'?quote:If he grossly underperforms I'd say so but if he does another 7-9 wins in the regular season I'd bet he sticks around for at least one more year.

Six pages describing how Rojo is wrong and how much people hate his threads. How he's an attention w****.
Six pages. And counting. Rojo, that's gonna be an awesome flip. I still believe ya man.
quote:The type offense won't matter if the problem with the O line was lack of skill and talent. if it was merely the coaching they should improve. But if they keep underperforming then it's going to be a long season of bubble screens again.quote:Forced? The QB debacle was of Sumlin's own making. New offense? I assume Rojo means Gatorade dunked

quote:
"The rumors were there, but they were real," said Foster, who hadn't talked much about the dealings of his contract extension until now. "... It was probably as close as I've ever been to leaving this place."
"My wife, she was ready to go," Foster said. "And there have been other jobs that I've had an opportunity to take and she wasn't ready to go. And some of those jobs, it's not just about me. It's about if my wife's not going to be happy, I'm not going to be happy and things. But we thought long and hard about it."

So we are already vetting our next head coach before the 2016 season even starts? Wouldn't Sumlin be offended by that? Or are we going to assume that Sumlin has no idea (but somehow Rojo does)? That seems reasonable.
Until that comment I was under the impression that Rojo really did have a loose lipped source but I just disliked him because of his desperate cries for attention. Now I am positive he has no info and just makes things up for attention.
