One thing I don't get is angry posts directed at rojo like the one two or three up from this one. This is an entertainment site, about a game....
You have to understand self-entitled psychology. These posters never made their high school football teams, they never had a hot date, they have dead-end jobs (if they have one at all), and their social life happens on their keyboards (wash your hands after using). They are the "transplayers": they identify as football stars - but they weren't born with the right equipment....
Rojo, when is this top10 recruit happening?
Chavis has his timeline. Just remember that Mack wasn't announced until signing day due to strategic reasons.
Does Chavis want our rivals to think this top recruit is theirs to waste their time and resources like the sips did last year?
Not knocking you Rojo, just trying to understand the logic. If this is the case, then why would sources close to the program, who care about the program, even want to remotely jeopardize this recruit coming here? If Chavis wants to keep that mum so others do not recruit him, then it would serve no purpose for you to share the information unless your sources want certain people gone.
I understand the easy answer was to say their reasons are not for public consumption, but in no universe does leaking any sensitive information pay huge dividends, it unfortunately does quite the opposite.
