Shoot it!
quote:Really?
I don't get it.
quote:That was my recollection as well. I was a Crocker Coque (hard as a rock) in '84 and '85. Regarding the plumbing, I very distinctly remember there being no partitions between and around the toilets - just a small panel that only came out a few inches from the wall. It made for some unpleasant situations apres Sbisa. And I distinctly remember having just moved in and having two guys that lived down the hall take a pee, then come over to me as I was sitting on the commode to introduce themselves. They each shook my hand (your sink was back in your room, not in the bathroom) and then they had a fairly pleasant, downright neighborly conversation with me, just as naturally as if we were meeting in a classroom or in church. What year did the old Crocker go to that great dormitory museum in the sky?
Crocker '82. RIP
we always just said "shoot!" i think.
quote:My dad explained that to me just as you say. He is Class of '57.quote:Really?
I don't get it.
When taking a shower the water temperature can suddenly be affected by someone flushing a toilet.
So proper etiquette before giving them a shock is to yell crapper so they can adequately prepare themselves for the impending danger. Once they are in position to weather the storm they signal the all clear by shouting "shoot it".
