None have or will win a national championship.

Three of those guys will likely compete for national championships at their new schools.
Which three? As Galloway used to say on Sports at Six "tequila must be running in the streets where you live."

When would we have won the SEC East? 2015 was the only yr we didn't lose to an SEC East opponent and its because we faced two cellar dwellers.

Are you that Aggie that cries about everything and is always looking for something to be upset about? First pick of the game... Take him out! On defense... Tackle him! Missed field goal... We need a new kicker. QB decommits... Fire everyone!

I hate sitting next to people like you at the games.

News flash: Mazzone was not making effort to keep Martell. Doesn't fit his system. Only blue chip QBs 6'2" and taller need apply. Allen would've thrived in his offense but he left before finding out who Sumlin would pick for the new OC. I'm sure he regretted leaving when he found out Kyler left too AND Mazzone got the job.

I'm that Aggie that actually has an Ag Tag and actually gives to the Association and 12th Man. Shut your mouth.

Allen - Didn't like playing musical chairs with a kid that was not worthy
Murray- Hover Dad was made promises that did not gel with kids 1st-year abilities
common denominator = Sumlin and Spav

Hill - Expectations from fans was too much for youngster to handle. Not possible to follow JFF.
Tate - Doesn't matter he never signed
no common denominator

Maybe you could say that there has been too much pressure put on QB's that are too young to handle it.
Tate does not really fit into that though

Last year's offense was terrible. Something was seriously wrong with the offensive coaching staff. Or everything.

Last year was a crap job by sumlin. He's made his fortune as an offense guru, but it's hard to believe in him after last year.

Thus top recruits look elsewhere. I hope mazone and turner are the answer.

I remember when anybody would disagree with me or had another opinion I would be mad.... That's when I was 8.

Shut your mouth? Really Corps? Get a life
Thanks for the money Kevin Sumlin is going to roll around in it.

Hill had a well documented substance abuse issue that rumor has it is still causing problems at TCU. Allen and Murray were incompatible so Allen bailed and the Murray problem looks like pure diva situation. Martell isn't a fit for the new OC. Honestly the only one that was handled poorly was Allen.

Every kid the new OC has offered is 6'2+ and has a frame to grow. Big QB's who can roll out and take a hit rather than relying on finding a smaller generational talent like a Manziel and praying they dont get hurt.

It sucks because Martell is super talented but the OC's entire history is with bigger QB's as a clear preference.

Speaking of childish, you are the one that made things personal for seemingly no reason than you can't actually refute anything i said, so there's that.

Like it or not 1876 makes a great point.

It's unpopular since we are summer/pre-summer in this annual cycle and now is the time to have hope.

But, in November we are going to have trump or Hillary as president and Sumlin as our coach.

You had someone in the bag for two years and lost him and somehow you don't blame the person in charge?

He had committed to UW before that. I just don't think it's fair to put his decommitment on Sumlin. He seemed loyal to Spav and he seems highly intrigued by Ohio State. It was gonna happen.

Yes he's great at relating to and landing highly rated QBs with huge egos and ****ty attitudes.

Coaching them and keeping them on campus... not so much.

Well for one, he has by far the best coaching record of any coach here since about 98 (last year's of Slocum and more recent)... and considering we are in by far the most brutal league that we have ever been in (or really that has ever existed in college football)... I don't think that's a bad thing?

I'm not saying I'm content with being "okay" but I certainly don't think the world is ending because we had "just" 8 wins last year... Sumlin has since made improvements to the staff. Our arrest/law issues have gone way down as of recent... and he's pretty much met/exceeded expectations every year he's been here (realistic expectations, not the national title every year crap the delusional zoo spews).

I wouldn't trade our program for that of Baylor's or Ole Miss or tu... would you? There's plenty of schools with bigger **** storms brewing than losing 4 Prima Donna players and an assistant coach posting something true on twitter.

I think I've figured it out.

slwdsm is Eric Hyman.

That would explain all the time he has to police this board and everyone's expectations along with it.

Its not a bad thing that he has a better record than Dennis Franchione and Mike Sherman.

But even Kevin Sumlin would tell you his job isn't to simply play better than .500 football.

Nor is it a bad thing that Kevin Sumlin isn't 1) In a nationally known scandal about handling sexual assaults; 2) Caught in a nationally known recruiting investigation and 3) Failing to make bowl games.

But even Kevin Sumlin would tell you his job isn't simply to avoid scandals or make a small-time bowl game.

The standard, for me at least, and you dislike me more than anyone, is not to win national titles every season. But I will criticize the coaching staff if they're not even sniffing national titles. Kevin Sumlin and staff barely sniffed a championship their first season and haven't come close since.
