I think the biggest positive will be when the Murrays try to meltdown the ou program when they don't get their way.

Indeed. I don't follow recruiting too closely compared the real meatheads out there, but I do recall the drama queen stuff being pretty intense this time last year. Seeing how disruptive KM was from there on it, we should all be thankful for the more straightforward process we are seeing play out right now.

I agree but that is the new normal with recruits.

Hearing that Ole Miss coaches trying to downplay NCAA violations to their recruits by saying allegations are based on previous coaching admin., which is true; however, they are overlooking the fact that if more violations are found while on probation (and it is public knowledge among Ole Miss students that certain current players, recruits, and their "handlers" are being paid), penalties will be even more severe.

Recruits should be aware and stay away! Within next 4 years, Ole Miss football will be on major probation.

True, for the 5 stars and many 4 stars. For the others, it is a crap-shoot that a place will be held for them. Witness Harbaugh and Saban recently.

Another thing, in the current dead period, coaches can still contact recruits that have an LOI from the program. Encourages a scatter shot of late offers to hedge the class.

Yep. The whole announcement thing is kind of funny too as almost everyone knows what is going to happen in advance.

Thing is though, very few of these kids are going to find limelight any greater than what they enjoy currently. For 98% of recruits, this is their 15 minutes of fame.

I agree with most except Daniels. He is definitely going to tu in my opinion. We get Thomas, Davis, Jones, and Hansford. And maybe Pennamon (though I'm skeptical we get another back). Everyone else is fools gold IMO.

Trying to go 0-3 today in recruiting news.

Kds recruiting fail will lead to his dismissal.

That's the only positive I can take away from today.

Starting to think that Kds' yessirs from a couple days ago were all bs.

This is the season that Kds gets to put up or shut up.

If he turns the ship around and wins 10 games, then recruits will come back because they'll know he's good for awhile longer.

If the team falls flat, mazzone sucks, Christensen sucks and we barely win 6 due to Kds ceo incompetence, then we are toast until we get new coach.

I'm good with all that.

We have a very good class and will pick up a few more recruits
