vonmazer,
So you think Riley will be at blowu in two years when Murray can play?
As for OSU, they use Walsh as the running QB now. I think Murray fits best as a change of pace guy anyway, but regardless the way they use Walsh is closer to Murray's skillset than anything Riley has ever done.
The only thing I will agree with is the offense this year under Allen did not fit Kyler. I do think we saw an offense v Vandy that did fit him (what he's good at, maybe not what he wants). I would expect more evolution of that system at A&M. I don't think Riley has ever run anything similar to that.
My point entirely. Riley will be gone after next year, but it's ou, and stoops has a history of good offensive hires(2/3).
Walsh was used this season after Rudolph is injured, but that system is designed for a pocket passer. They really struggled this year on offense getting anything consistent going- unusual for a Gundy coached team.
Kyler would have been better served going to a program like Oregon- which already has a well established offensive system that can mask his deficiencies. OU has one of the higher vertical pass rates out of any spread offense, and that doesn't suit him. It's a stupid transfer.
