I can see that Kyler and his football knowledgeable father are very concerned that Kyler will be wasting his time here playing for an incompetent offensive coaching staff. They should want it fixed !
what I have a hard time with is I agree with the Murray's in that the offense plan is trash (allegedly)... they're just in a position to influence it.

Well, he said it called it in the video.... "Those people that are cheering for him today are the same ones that would turn on him in the drop of a hat. They don't care about my son, they just care about what he can do for the university."

(Paraphrased).

I agree with what he's saying, but I just don't view it as the players rejecting A&M as much as them rejecting Sumlin. That's the part for which I don't blame them. I wouldn't put my faith or trust in him, either, and you have to in order to put on the maroon and white.
Inasmuch as I live in Alabama I don't get the opportunities to discuss Aggie athletics that many of the posters on this site do.

I've been disturbed by the team's lethargic performance after the Alabama game -- and that one wasn't much to write home about.

Something's infected the team. The saying goes: "We've never been licked," and I'd kinda thought that was true. Aggies didn't quit, because they wouldn't quit. We'll, I've begun to believe that this year's (Offensive) team did quit...

What went wrong? This team is overflowing with outstanding talent, so that isn't or certainly shouldn't be the problem. It was something else.I Ihink it was mishandling of the talent on hand . Who does that? -- especially at QB. It's the OC and the HC, the "chemistry" between them, -- and its effect on our stable of QBs.

There never appeared to be agreement as to who was the starter. That began during the ASU game and it went downhill from there. Who decides? The Captain of a Navy ship is given the sole authority to make his ship mission ready and to perform that mission accordingly.

He is also held responsible for everything that his officers and men do -- he gets the praise -- or the blame. It's implicit that his fitness reports and his career will reflect this, The last words any naval officer wants to find in his FITREP are: "He is a competent officer."

So, I believe that, like it or not, the ultimate responsibility for EVERY aspect of a team's performance -- coaching staff and players -- rests with the HEAD COACH. Spavital's performance as OC has been dismal. Whatever happens to HUNHee should've been dismissed after the Ole Miss game. Sumlin should've taken over the Offense. Instead

Jackie did that during the 1984 season. He won the TCU and tu games BIG time. RC canned Dino Babers and promoted Sumlin.

Sumiln's the Captain, now. He has the authority and the responsibility for fixing this. NOW. Otherwise HE'S going to get fired and we're's going to be back on the starting line.
