Well, we know what Rojo says about the OC. And he's flat out said it isn't Chavis. and he said the meltdown would be epic if it happened. And that its related to the OC change. To me, that leaves 2 options for people leaving: Kyler Murray, or Kevin Sumlin.

They told me they had seen x,y, and z with respect to Bud Foster. Low friends at VTech were telling me very similar information. I posted that I was all in on Foster. Then one night I received a phone call from my friends in low places in Aggieland -- Foster was not the primary target -- it was Chavis, and the contract was signed and the ink was dry. Sumlin was targeting Foster, but switched to Chavis when Chavis contacted Sumlin. I hung up the phone and immediately posted it right here that Sumlin had done what my friends referred to as, "The Curly Shuffle". I had to eat a lot of crow changing to Chavis, but that is what I was being told.

Funny thing on the way to reality: if I am only making stuff up -- funny how the only two names I threw out there were the two Sumlin was actually targeting. Funny how I knew the contract was already signed with Chavis.

Then we have the recruiting: I guaranteed only two things as part of a new Curly Shuffle: Daylon Mack and Kyler Murray. Why? Because my friends in low places in Aggieland told me in February that Daylon had made a private commitment to the Chief back in January, and I knew Daylon was a man of his word. I had some information from them on Kyler's situation, and I did not then, nor will I now post what that was. But, suffice it to say it was enough for me to guarantee his commitment. Now, as to Daylon's private commitment: who else knew about that until *after* he signed the LOI? Who, please step up and copy your post up here on this thread. BTW, myself and a couple of other Texags posters knew Kyler was about to announce his recommitment to Texas A&M about 1 hour before it was public. Its there for all to see. If you knew the announcement was going to be made an hour before it was public -- again, post up.

But, I also said that there would be three more recruits, and maybe one more surprise. BTW, the only three private targets the coaches were still trying to sign. If you knew that the Aggies had three more private targets -- step right up and copy your post here on this thread.

Finally, I was given some information that there would be a new OC for 2016, and that OC was Steve Spurrier. My friends in low places are standing by their information. Solidly standing by it. They have not seen *any* other name from their vantage point. And, man, what a vantage point that have for things like that. So, I posted it.

Am I being used as trial balloon by others? I really don't care. It's great fun. If the balloon pops, that's life.

Believe it, don't believe it. Read it, don't read it. Quite frankly, if all you can do is belittle people and write crap about them because you don't have a life-- quite frankly, I don't give a damn about what you have to post or say.

I post the information for two reasons: 1) to keep the weak minded occupied and away from their keyboards where they foolishly and bitterly tear at an entire program having probably never played the game themselves at any level, 2) apparently someone deep in Aggieland wants the information out there for their purpose as they see it helping the program.

To both reasons, I say: post away.

I am starting to think if you're right, which I must admit is looking less likely with every reassurance or proclamation, you're not really sure if it is, in fact, Sr. (OBC) and not Jr.

RedAggie - How do your friends in low places feel about Adele? She seems to have the "it" factor, but I'm not convinced she can compete in the SEC. Answer with a riddle if you don't mind.

I think this is what he's hinting at. Kyler transferring wouldn't cause a huge meltdown, as many think he's going to play baseball anyway. Tate de-committing? That would cause a pretty huge meltdown.

Now, I'm not saying I think Tate is de-committing, or that a 70 year old will be our OC.

So, I am not seeing or understanding your perspective that your posts in anyway do anything to remotely HELP TEXAS A&M's football program. All of those things above do nothing but create uncertainty and discontent with HS coaches, HS recruits, HS families of recruits, current players on the team, and lastly the fan base.

I seem to remember a 5* LB last year that signed with our arch rival. If memory serves, he and his mother cited uncertainty around who our new DC would be as the main reason he did not sign with Texas A&M. If these boards are to be believed, this recruit and his momma even demanded to know the name of the new DC and Sumlin refused to oblige. If Rojo is to be believed (and I am a believer), wouldn't it follow that someone within the Texas A&M Football program would not want the same thing to happen again this year? By putting out the name of the new OC, and then confirming it again and again, Mr. Aggie Rojo, has, if nothing else, attempted to remove some uncertainty around who will guide our offense in 2016. Surely, we can expect that other schools are using the venom spewed against Spav on this very board in a negative recruiting manner in living rooms across this state (and beyond).

I, for one, am enjoying the ride. It may come to fruition or it may not. But, it has certainly been entertaining to consider.

If Sumlin hadn't been able to hire Chavis last year, none of this would be remotely plausible. But, if recruits are reading these boards, it probably helps with their comfort level with Sumlin being able to get a great OC as well.

It is about the narratives right now, during the dead period.

The horns are in disarray with a lame duck HC. Ditto for LSU. TCU has some question marks regarding their OC staff being there very much longer. Even Briles' has some question marks regarding his coaching staff. Auburn is a mess. Bama has new coaches on defense.

OU, Arkansas and OSU have coaching stability in terms of recruiting the more prominent players. An announcement sooner rather than later would be helpful, of course.

Chavis was worth the wait. Let's hope this OC is worth it too.

Everyone has a perspective on this, but the problem with your position is that last year Snyder was released quickly at year's end.

Spav is still on the staff as the OC whether we all "know" he is being let go, he has NOT been publicly relieved of duties by Sumlin. Which is very strange on its own merits.

Thus, claiming anyone is the new OC while we still have an OC is the uncertainty that is not helpful, imo. But, to each his own.

I don't disagree that Rojo and the Spurrier claims have been fun and amusing to the masses. I get it.

But again, my question to Rojo is that he claims to love A&M football and yet leaks information that "we believe is supposed to be private". How does that "help" Texas A&M football.

Maybe it does in some twisted thinking way or more likely it does not help. But, by all means, continue having fun with it. I'm sure it has no impact on any recruits we are after since it is all just innocent fun and 17/18 yr old kids fully understand that even with opposing teams' coaches lying to them all day about other schools' rumors or troubles.

But, I am sincere when I say, this is a free message board and folks can post what they want to. I am in no way saying you shouldn't have fun or feel free to post what you want. So no worries on my end, just wondering how folks think about things like this.
